Aboriginal Art Spirit of the Bush 2 Black Bird-Matjin Thurruun Cotton Quilting Fabric Panel is  from the Spirit of the Bush 2 Collection designed by Chern’ee, Brooke and Jesse Sutton  for Kennard and Kennard. 

This fabric panel is 100% cotton and the panel measures approximately 36 inches x 43 inches. (91.44 cm x 109.22 cms).

Chern’ee Sutton. Chern’ee is an award winning, modern indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people around the Mount Isa area in Queensland.

This fabric design tells the story of how long, long ago all birds were black and had no colours. They all looked the same except for their shape and size and through selfless actions black bird was magically turned to the beautiful rainbow lorikeet so everyone can now see she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
